Summer + Utility Vest

| Top: Target | Vest: Nordstrom | Shorts: old, similar | Sandals: Sam Edelman | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban   | Handbag: Louis Vuitton | Earrings: Moon & Lola | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: Loren Hope      | Ring: David Yurman |

Hi guys!! I know its been a long time since I've posted, life has just gotten the best of me this past week. Between school and CPA exams, I can't seem to catch a break! A lot of things have happened since my last post. I got my sweet Jax back this past weekend and OMG he is like a completely different dog! He listens, walks right beside me (instead of trying to drag me) when on the leash, he's calm, and just all together well behaved. They really did some miracle working during those three weeks.

In other exciting news, I bought a house!!! It all happened so quickly that I still can't believe that it's real. I have been on the search for the perfect one for a long time and I finally found it. Its a townhouse, just a few minutes from where I currently live. Its only a few minutes from the mall (yay!), a short drive to my job, and to pretty much all of my favorite places. It has a back yard for Jax, and all of the space I could ever need. I am so excited for Jax and I's new journey.

Now, about the outfit! I am in love with this tank! It caught my eye as soon as I saw it. So comfy and will be the perfect casual go to for the summer and the best part is that it was only $18. The new bag..... still swooning over it. I can't get enough it. I have had my eye on it for so long, so I am so glad to finally have my hands on it. And how cute are these shoes? My sweet daddy go them for me as a 'just because' gift, he always does such a great job. Most of my fellow fashionistas' would probably say that they get it from their momma, well, I get it from my daddy! He is seriously the cutest thing. He is always dressed to the nines and styling the latest styles. I guess that's what 20 years of retail will do to ya!

Thank you for stopping by!!

| Top: ROMWE | Jeans: Articles of Society | Wedges: Steve Madden | Handbag: Gucci | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Watch: Michele | Earrings: BaubleBar

Yesterday was an absolute dream, but kind of a tease. The weather was amazing, I can't wait for the warm weather to be here for good! I spent some time in Mooresville with my family this weekend and it was so chilly that I barely wanted to leave the house. I spent Saturday with my parents, we had lunch at on of our favorite local BBQ places, went to see 'The Shack' (so good, highly suggest seeing it), did a little shopping and then had dinner at another one of our favorite places! It was such a great day because, I rarely see my parents, and if I do usually one or both of them are working when I come home, so it was so nice to have the whole day to spend together.

In other news, I am FINALLY going to get Jax back from obedience school on Friday, and I literally can contain my excitement. Like literally, I've barely been able to sleep the past few nights. I'm hoping that he's excited to see me too and not angry that I left him somewhere for such a long time. But, for the sake of our relationship in the future (and the fact that he is going to be HUGE), I knew that this was essential.

Now, on to the outfit! First off, please ignore how badly I need a tan. After seeing myself in shorts today, I realized how badly I need to do some sun bathing. So, I got this top form ROMWE and it so cute. Such a great piece for the spring in summer. Not to mention, the prices are amazing!!! You definitely need to check out their website! I've already got a huge wish list that I am planning on ordering soon! Seriously though, you can't beat the prices.

Turquoise Touches

| Top: Soprano | Jeans: Joe's Jeans | Clutch: Clare Vivier | Wedges: Jessica Simpson |  Necklace: Panacea | Watch: Michael Kors |

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is having a great week! I got this necklace at the end of last summer and I wear it with so many different things! It goes great with winter sweaters and with summer dresses. It can be dressed up or down and is a great pop of color. I also love love love this top! I bought it back in the fall and got a lot of use out of it then and now its a great transitional piece for the spring. Not to mention, its on sale right now! It's a definite must have!! These wedges were my go to last spring/summer. I wore them ALL of the time!! Luckily I was able to find a retailer that still had them and they are on a great sale. All are linked above.

So,  I was supposed to be going to pick up my sweet pup this weekend but after talking to the trainer I have decided to let him stay an extra week. It kills me that I will have to wait another week to see him but the weekend I pick him up he will be getting his CGC, which is pretty essential for a dog his size.

Fun Little Stripped Dress

| Dress: Ivy & Leo | Shoes: Express, Similar | Handbag: Coach | Earrings: Lisi Lerch | Watch: Michael Kors

Hey everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! This past weekend was one that I have been looking forward to for a long time. Some friends and I spent our Saturday at the Rich & Bennett's St. Patty's Day bar crawl. It was a blast!! I'm already getting excited for next year. In other news, I get my sweet puppy back later this week from obedience training. I have missed him so much.... things have just felt so empty without him. Its crazy how two months ago I knew nothing about life with a dog and now I can't imagine my life without one. They sure do have a way making their way into our hearts!

When it comes to a great summer wardrobe, I think its essential to have several dress that you can easily throw on and wear to almost anything. This dress, is perfect for just that. Its super comfy, cute, and a great price!! And you can really match it with almost anything. When I was deciding what to match it with for photos I could not decide because there were so many great options. The runner up was to add this denim jacket and these shoes (I'm obsessed & wear way too often). After looking through these pictures, I realized exactly how badly I need to get a tan. Needless to say, ill be laying out by the pool as soon as it warms up!

It's a little embarrassing how much I shop at Ivy & Leo, I could probably live there. Make sure to use my personalized code for you guys at check out 'Chloe10' to receive 10% off your entire purchase.

Fun Lace Details

| Top: Free People | Jeans: Joe's Jeans  | Heels: Michael Kors  | Bag: Chanel | Ring: David Yurman |

Hey everyone! Hope you all have had a great week! Wow, it's been a whirlwind of a week for me. Earlier this week, I was a guest on the Charlotte Community Radio in a segment of 'Not Your Boyfriend's Radio Hour with Amelia Coughlin. We had so much fun, shared lots of laughs and even played a little movie trivia (which I totally sucked at).

So, this week is my spring break, and somehow, this is one of the busiest weeks I've had in a while. Lately, I have just been completely overwhelmed. It makes me sad that its Thursday, and this is the first blog post I've been able to post this week. Between school, CPA exams, blogging, working, etc., I am just stretched really thin. I've spent so much time and effort working hard in school, maintaining good grades and studying for my CPA exams. As many of you know, I took my first one last month. I got my results back today and they weren't the results I was hoping for. I did not pass, but only by a very small margin, which, I think makes it even worse. It's definitely discouraging because I put so much time and effort into. But, I have to remember, these are not easy, their pass rates are below 50%, and that I'll get through it eventually.

On thing that I have really learned lately is that things aren't also done in the timing that we hope. My dad always tells me, "sometimes you just have to sit back and enjoy the ride," and it's so true!! I spend so much time stressing myself out about getting things done in 'allotted' time, that I give myself full blown anxiety. But I just have to ask myself is it really worth it to stress things that badly. The answer, of course, is no. It's all in God's timing.

There are other times that I wonder if all of this is really what I want to be doing with my life. I wonder if this is something that I could be passionate about and truly enjoy, and many days I don't know the answer to that question. I enjoy my job and the people that I work with, but is it really me? I hope that this is something that I can figure out. Obviously, I would love to be a full time blogger but that's just not a possibility for me right now. I definitely have a lot of soul searching to do.

So, what was my big point of all of this rambling. Basically, I just wanted to express that it's okay to be confused or frustrated about different aspects in your life, but that does not mean that there isn't a solution to it all. Things take time and they aren't always evident in the beginning. Take every day as it is and try to not be like me and micro manage everything and try and plan life so far in advance. Live life to the fullest and do what you love and sit back and enjoy the ride.

Much love,

Shades of Blue

| Top: Ivy & Leo | Pants: Loft | Handbag: Kate Spade | Heels: Michael Kors | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Watch: Michele | Bracelet: David Yurman | Ring: David Yurman |

Happy Friday everyone! Today I wanted to share another one of my favorite looks for spring! This top is going to be getting a lot of use this spring. Not only is it great for a day of shopping but its great for a GNO. I love love the color too!

In other news, my sweet pup is leaving on Sunday to go to doggie training for two weeks. I'm sure going to miss that little stinker but it's going to be nice to be able to sleep in again! I'm also taking a day trip to Blowing Rock, NC on Saturday. For those of you who haven't heard of it, it's a cute little town in the mountains of NC that has great places to shop and eat! Of course, we all know why I'm going.... I can't resist a good shopping day!

Next week is my spring break but unfortunately I'll be spending it catching up on school work and CPA studying. I am going to try and take another day trip somewhere though, would love to hear of any suggestions you guys might have!!

Thank you for stopping by!!

Bows on Bows

| Top: Ivy & Leo | Jeans: Articles of Society | Shoes: Sam Edelman | Handbag: Louis Vuitton | Sunglasses: Ivy & Leo | Watch: Michele | Ring: David Yurman | Bracelets: David Yurman |

Hey everyone! Hope you had a great weekend and great start to your week! I'm so excited about sharing this look because I'm obsessed!! I literally go for anything that has bows on it so, of course, I was immediately drawn to this top! If you haven't already, check out Ivy & Leo. They have so many cute pieces at great prices and you can get 10% off your purchase when you use the code 'Chloe10' at checkout. I'm absolutely obsessed with my new bag. If you're thinking of splurging on a new bag soon, you definitely need to go with a LV! They are timeless, classic and go great with so much!

In other news, its currently almost 72 degrees in Charlotte and I am loving every second of it. Currently sitting in class, with my tank top and shorts on! So excited for the spring and summer, they are by far my favorite seasons! My spring break is next week but, unfortunately, I have three CPA classes and lots of CPA studying to do so it looks like I'll be spending my spring break in the library. Hopefully, ill be able to squeeze in a small vacation before summer semester starts!
