Ya'll! I am so excited that it's starting to feel like spring! I really hope that it stays that way! So, I recently went into one of my favorite boutiques, Ivy & Leo and loaded up on some super cute spring pieces. This kimono immediately caught my eye, its so cute, comfy, and such a great price. It is going to be getting a lot of use this spring and summer! Make sure and check out their site for lots of cute, affordable pieces. If you enter in 'Chloe10' at checkout you will receive 10% off your entire purchase.

Now, as far as this bag goes, it is a MUST!!! Seriously, I carry it all of the time. Not only that, its great for all seasons. It was perfect with so many of my fall outfits, and now I am incorporating it into  a lot of my spring ones. And you truly can't beat the price!

On another note, I am seriously in love with how these pics and the others from this day turned out. If you live in the Charlotte area you should definitely check out my girl, Deeana Kourtney Photography.  We had so much fun shooting these!!

Lastly, a little life update. I won't find out for another few weeks how I did on my first CPA test, fingers crossed that I passed. School is going really well this semester, so much less stress than last! Jax, has become quite the little mischievous boy and he doesn't love to cuddle anymore :( He will be going to puppy bootcamp in a few weeks and I am excited to see how it will help!

Pattern Mixing

Happy Saturday everyone! Hope you all had a great, stress free week! My first CPA exam is done, and hopefully for good. Man, is that a huge relief! Unfortunately I am spending the weekend catching up on other school work and all things blog! I am having a photoshoot tomorrow of lots of cute spring things and I look forward to sharing them with you all next week! On top of that, the blog itself is going to have a few more changes happening in the next few weeks, and I am excited to share all of that with you as well!

So, the weather in the south is completely bi-polar right now. One days is freezing and you want nothing more than to be all bundled up and then the next you break out the short sleeves and candles because its almost 70 degrees out. I really wish it would make up its mind and choose one or the other (preferably to warm up for good). So, these photos were taken on a REALLY cold day. I think by the end I was almost numb because, of course, I didn't bring a jacket and I was freezing my booty off the whole time we were doing photos.

I hesitated for a long time about buying these boots, because I am fairly short and I have always though OTK boots wouldn't work well.... but I am in LOVE. They are super comfy, easy to get on and off, and a great price point! I decided to add them in the with this fun pattern mixing look to make a fun, warm outfit that you could wear out to fun errands or for a GNO. I would seriously wear leather leggings all year long if it were acceptable, I love them!!!

Thank you all for stopping by!!

Winter to Spring Transitioning

Happy Thursday y'all! I can't lie, as I sit here and right this I can't help but be in full panic for the test I am taking today. These CPA exams are no joke! I have been studying for almost two months now and this is just test 1 of 4, ugh!! Would love and appreciate all the well wishes you have to give as I give this a go today.

When it comes to clothes, transitioning from Winter to Spring is not an easy task. I'm a very hot natured person, so the second I get a glimpse of warmer weather, I'm ready to throw on the shorts, t-shirts and sandals. Thus, I have to find a happy medium. When the weather breaks into the 50's I still wear my warm tops but begin incorporate 'cooler' shoes such as flats and begin wearing my jeans with more distress in them. Then, once it eases up a little more I start bringing out the light weight long sleeves and some of my favorite short sleeves. It usually has to be in the 70's before I actually throw on the shorts and tank tops. I seriously can't wait for that weather, btw. Even though we didn't have a brutal winter by any means, I am ready for the summer weather again!!

Now, for outfit details. I love love this sweater. It's not super warm so its a great transitional piece. Unfortunately it's from last year so its no longer available but I am linking some similar ones above. I am also obsessed with these flats, I seriously want them in every color. They are so comfy and a great price point.

Business Casual

| Top: JCrew | Blazer: Old, Similar | Jeans: Joe's | Booties: Lucky Brand | Bag: Louis Vuitton | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Watch: Marc Jacobs | Ring: David Yurman |

Hey everyone! Sorry for being so MIA lately, I have a CPA exam coming up on Thursday so I have been studying like crazy. Which, does not leave much time for anything else, unfortunately.

I decided that I would do a casual business look since, I will be wearing a lot of business clothes once I get back to working full time. Saying that I am obsessed with button downs, is an understatement. It always blows my mind how many I have when I doing my annual closest change for the fall/winter. This one I purchased about a month ago and have been wearing it with everything! Its super comfy and matches with so many things. Matching it with this blazer made for the perfect duo. I purchased this blazer many years ago but I linked a similar one that I am dying to have up above.

As you have probably noticed, I am obsessed with this bag. I have linked one above that is at a discounted price. The site has so many great bags at great prices. Yes, they are used but are in excellent condition. I purchase so many of my designer pieces there.

Sorry for the short post today, but like I said, my CPA test is in a few days and I have a lot of studying to get done! Look forward to another post later this week!

Thanks for stopping by!

100 Percent Beads

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you all had a fabulous and stress free week! Now, for those of you who follow along, know how much I love jewelry! I am always looking fun new unique pieces to add to my collection. I recently stumbled upon @100percentbeads on Instagram and immediately became obsessed!

Pam, the owner is so sweet and such a pleasure to work with. She has so many great pieces that can be worn alone or that can be layered. Beaded pieces are great for the spring and summer, so you need to make sure and check her out for the upcoming seasons! The necklace above is going to be getting a lot of use of the next few months!

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend!! For the first time in a while, I took a few days to relax, and quite frankly, be lazy. With all that is going on lately, I rarely get any down time so it was a much needed relaxing few days. My sweet puppy had his 12 week check up yesterday and he did SO good. And, boy was I right in saying that he is going to be a big boy, he is already almost 20 lbs!! The  vet estimated around 90 lbs at full size, wowzer!

So, I am in love with how these turned out. My cousin did a great job with these photos and we had so much fun shooting them. We went to the old mill in my hometown of Mooresville to shoot. Its amazing how well the old buildings have held up after all of these years. Luckily, they are finally putting the buildings to good use and adding some businesses in the old space.

As for the outfit, I am obsessed with chunky knit sweaters. I got this one on a really great sale at Altr'd State. It's not longer available but I am linking a very similar one above, its almost identical. And this Coach bag.... what can I say, I am obsessed!! I find myself always grabbing for it for almost all occasions.

Thank you for stopping by!
