All Time Favorite Sweater

| Sweater: Goodnight Macaroon (Similar) | Jeans: Articles of Society | Booties: Michael Kors | Handbag: Kate Spade | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Ring: David Yurman | Watch: Kate Spade | Bracelets: David Yurman |

Happy Tuesday everyone!!! Boy, I wish this weather could make up it's mind. One day I'm in a t-shirt and capris and the next I'm bundled up in a sweater with my boots on. It's definitely no mystery why everyone is getting sick. Praying that I don't catch anything!

So, quick life update today. In a little over two weeks, I take my first CPA exam (audit). I am super nervous and so ready to get it over with! I'm a tax accountant so audit is not my cup of tea. My classes this semester are a lot less stressful, thank goodness! I wasn't sure how I was going to survive but luckily I am able to manage.

My sweet puppy turned 11 weeks old yesterday and he already weighs 16 pounds!! He is going to be one big boy! I definitely won't ever have to worry about feeling unsafe when he is around. To top it all off, I am training to become a Burn Bootcamp trainer. This, I have to say, has been my most difficult challenge. With every thing that I have going on, it's hard to find the time to workout every day. And pull-ups.... oh how I loathe them!! I can do one, maybe two on a good day and I am required to do five. Lots of work to do to get there!!

Now, about the outfit. I am in LOVE with this sweater. I catch myself wearing it all of the time, I can't get enough of it. I am going to be sad when the weather does warm up for good and I not able to wear it anymore. I felt like breaking the rules a little with this look, ya know, no white after labor day or before memorial day. But, who made up those rules anyways? I am all about some white all year long. These booties are amazeballs! I got them a couple weeks ago and seem to go to them almost all of the time. The color is spectacular and goes with literally everything.

Hey everyone! Hope you have all had a great week. What started out as an ordinary week, turned out to be an amazing one. One Tuesday, I went to the Davidson basketball game and Stephen Curry was in attendance. I was so excited I could hardly stand. For those of you who do not know, I am a HUGEEEEE Stephen Curry fan. My dad and I have been attending Davidson games for years, even back in the Curry days. Ever since I first saw him play, I knew he would be something special. Never could I have imagined he would accomplish all that he has. Its great to know that I got to witness his growth in basketball and cheer him along all this time. Forever my favorite!

On to other news, I am in love with everything about this look. This off the shoulder blouse is amazing! So cute, soft and a great price point. A definite must have for the spring. And this skirt, I mean so cute! It goes with almost anything! And to top it all off, how freakin adorable is my sweet boy!?! I love love love Jax! But, looking at these pictures make me realize how fast he is growing. These were taken a little over a week ago and he has already gotten so much bigger. Before long, I am not even going to be able to pick him up anymore.

I am going to be spending my weekend catching up on some CPA studying and with grad school homework. Yay! (insert sarcasm) But, I also plan to have some more photos taken and I can't wait to share it with you all!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hair Care Necessities

A few weeks ago I finally took the time to get my hair done, and boy am I happy that I did! Ever since I went back to dark hair, I have missed my ombre. So, I decided to go with a balayage to lighten things up!

Above are some of my favorite every day items that I use on my hair! For shampoo and conditioner, I LOVE Paul Mitchell products. I have been using the same ones for years and they never disappoint. I love anything made by the Moroccan Oil brand, their products are amazing!!! My holy grail of products is It's A 10! It does everything you could possibly need; detangles, de-frizzes, heat protects, smoothes, etc. When it comes to a brush, I refuse to use anything but a Wet Brush. They are simply amazing.

I love all of my T3 products. I have their hair dryer and interchangeable head curling iron and they work perfectly. They are a little pricey but so worth the investment. Also, I have had a Hot Tools curling iron like the one above for years and it is my go to when I need a quick curling fix to my hair. They are very cost efficient and long lasting.

Here are a few pictures of how my hair turned out:

For those of you in the Charlotte area, you definitely need to look up my girl, Vanessa! Her website can be found here!

Jax's Blog Introduction

| Dress: Nordstrom | Vest: ChicWish | Booties: Michael Kors | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban | Handbag: Tory Burch | Ring: David Yurman | Watch: Michele |

Everyone meet, Jax! My entire life, my dad and I have always wanted a German Shepard, but because of limited space where I grew we we're never able to get one. This past July, I finally got my own place so I knew the time was coming to add to my little family. After several months of anticipation, he's finally mine! I can't wait for all of life's adventures that we will go on together.

As I lay here and type this, he is perched on my lap watching my every move. He's such a smart boy, within just a week he is pretty much potty trained. Crate training has been a little bit of a struggle due to some puppy anxiety but he's getting better with each day and I think within another week or so he should be good. As for other things, we are learning to walk on a leash, which he is doing really well with. He know's how to 'sitz' (which is German for 'sit') and we are working on other things like 'No' and 'Come.' I think the greatest thing of all is the bond that we already share. I can see already the loyalty and kindness he is going to possess.

This dress... it is the most comfy thing I have ever put on. Its great for a day around town, a girls night out and can even be dressed up for a party. I purchased this vest last year, and I wear it with so many different outfits. Its the perfect transitional piece for the fall and winter. As for the booties, my dad surprised me with these a few weeks ago and I can't stop wearing them. The color is perfect and they will even be great for spring! With the amount I am wearing them though, they may not make it to spring.

Shout out to my awesome photographer Deeana Kourtney Photography for capturing these sweet moments and her hubby for occupying Jax while we took more photos. If you are in the Charlotte area, you should definitely consider her when selecting someone for your photography needs.

Happy Tuesday everyone! Wow, was it great to have a long weekend. I got so much done, and finally caught up on my CPA studying. Also, I met with my wonderful photographer and she got some great shots of my new puppy, Jax. He will be making his blog debut later this week, I can't wait for you all to meet him!!

So, I recently received this Coach bag, and OMG I seriously carry it with everything. Its perfect for almost any outfit I want to wear. It's great for running errands, for a girls night out, and even for church or a more formal event. I feel bad for all of my other bags because they aren't getting any attention lately. Coach is one of those brands that is always coming out with something new and innovated. Always producing cute and classic pieces that work for any woman for any type of event.... I mean, what more could you ask for?

Make sure and stop by Coach's website to see all of the great pieces that they have out right now!

Hipstik Legwear

| Top: Old Navy | Skirt: J Crew | Tights: Hipstik | Handbag: Coach | Sunglasses: Prada

Hey everyone! I am FINALLY back!! Between the holidays, beginning CPA studying, a new semester of classes, and getting a sweet new puppy, I have had to put blogging on the back burner. Now that I have things under control, I plan to be back on a regular basis. More details about my new pup will be on the blog next week, so stay tuned for that!

Ever since I was a child I absolutely hated tights. I would even go as far as run around my house trying to get away from my mother as she tried to get me to put them on for church or a dance recital. But, after trying on a pair of Hipstik tights, my perspective on them completely changed. For the first time in my life I not only wasn't ready to rip them off the second I put them on, but I didn't want to take them off. They are so soft and comfy and the perfect thickness. Another problem I always have with tights is the thinness, but thats not a problem with Hipstik.

The tights come in multiple colors and come with an adorable lace detail around the waist line. With their unique sizing, I was able to find a pair that matched my body perfectly!! If your a business woman like me, these tights will be your new best friend. Now run, don't walk or in this case search as quickly as possible and find your perfect pair. They can be found at https://hipstiks.com

Thank you Hipstiks for sponsoring this post!
