Happy Wednesday everyone! Hope you all are having a good week. I don't know about you all, but it was soooooo hard to get up for work yesterday after a long weekend off.  Excited to get back into my routines and spend a nice weekend at home this coming weekend.... I feel like I have been on the go non-stop lately.

So, I haven't done an Instagram roundup in a while so I figured there is no better time than the present. I've worn a lot of my favorite pieces lately but didn't have time to do a photo shoot with them. I wanted to share where I got some of these pieces with you guys.

Thank you all for stopping by!

Off the Shoulder Obsessed

Dress: Ivy & Leo | Handbag: Tory Burch | Sandals: Sam Edelman | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Earrings: J Crew | Bracelets & Earrings: David Yurman | Watch: Michele

Hey everyone, hope you had a great long weekend!! I spent my weekend in Nashville and it was AMAZING!! I didn't want to come home. So many yummy places to eat and fun places to hang out at, at night. I think its safe to say I didn't get much sleep this weekend.

So, I recently discovered a new boutique near the mall that I frequent (and thats going to be just a few minutes from my new home, yay!). For my Charlotte peeps, the name is Ivy & Leo and its located right behind Southwark mall. And, I also found out that its the sister store to one of my favorite boutiques near where my parents live. Super cute stuff and very reasonable prices.... And where I got this super cute dress!! Its comfy, light weight and the sleeves actually stay down on my shoulders which is a rarity with off the shoulder tops and dresses.

I'm hoping to make a few more weekend trips this summer and would love any suggestions that you guys might have. I LOVE trying new places. I'm headed to Charleston next month and CAN NOT wait. It's one of my favorite places, ever!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Summer Lovin'

Top: Topshop | Skirt: H&M | Shoes: Jessica Simpson | Handbag: Aldo | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Watch: Marc Jacobs | Earrings: Kendra Scott |

Hey everyone, hope you are all having a great week! Its been a long week to say the least. Ive schedule several appointments to look at condos to purchase, and I couldn't be more excited. Can't wait to have a permanent home in Charlotte. To top it all off, I scheduled my classes for my first semester of graduate school. Not sure if I'm excited or sad but ready to get it over with.

So, I picked this skirt up at H & M a few weeks ago and I am in love! I NEVER go for skirts but I couldn't help but get this one.... and it was only $15. Its the perfect beach/summer piece.  I will be getting a lot of use out of it in the next few months. And, this tank is easily one of my favorites, I catch myself wearing it at least once a week... Whoops!

Also, headed to Nashville this week.... would love any suggestions on places to eat or cool places to visit?!?

Thank you for stopping by!

Fabulous Off the Shoulder Top

Top: Express | Jeans: Blank Denim | Wedges: Jessica Simpson | Clutch: Francesca's | Sunglasses: Prada | Earring: J Crew

Hope everyone is having a great week! It has been raining off and on all week here in Charlotte so things have been kinda gloomy. On a positive note though, I got UNC Charlotte's Masters of Accounting program this week! Such a huge relief since staying in Charlotte was my number one choice. I've been so blessed lately, its amazing what great things can happen with a little bit of prayer, faith, and hard work!

So, I saw this top on a friend of mine and knew right off I had to have it. First off, it runs a little big and I got mine as small as I could go so that the top wouldn't slide up my shoulders as easily. I can't get enough of these jeans and wedges, they both have been on repeat all the time. P.S. I so wish I was back at the beach with the palm trees and beautiful view in the background.

Thank you for stopping by!

Favorite Swim Suits of the Season

White Swimsuit: BP  Hat: Nordstrom Sunglasses: Karen Walker  One Piece Suit: Vince Camuto  Necklace: BaubleBar  Ring: Kendra Scott  Bracelets: Nordstrom (last year)  Beach Towel: Vera Bradley

Hey everyone, Happy Tuesday! Getting back in to the routine of work and working out after so much time off has been kicking my butt this week so I've been MIA the past few days. Its been a whirlwind of a week so far.  So many great things are happening, even for the blog and I can't wait to share them with you all.

So, posts like this are hard for me. Being comfortable with my body is something that I've always struggled with and still struggle with. I have been working hard to change it and it has changed a lot but I still have a lot of work to do. With that being said, wearing a bathing suit is hard for me, especially taking pictures in one and posting it for the world to see.

I picked up both of these suits at Nordstrom right before my trip. While I don't typically go for bikinis, I couldn't resist the scallops. As far as the other one goes, I mean, Trina Turk is a no brainer. She always has the most beautiful patterns and at a reasonable price. The open back design sold me on this one.

I read a quote the other day and it has stuck with me ever since. It went something like this: "If someone is successful at something, it doesn't mean that they are the best at what they do, its usually because they consistently work hard for what they want and never give up."

Must Have Coverup

Coverup: Elan  Hat: Nordstrom  Sandals: Jack Rogers  Beach Bag: Local Boutique  Sunglasses: Karen Walker  Earrings: BaubleBar

Hey everyone! Hope you are all having a great week! Its been very difficult going from beach mode back to work mode. On a positive note, I officially accepted a full time position with my employer and will begin as a full time employee after graduate school. I hope to hear back from my top pic grad school this week, so prayers are greatly appreciated!

So, I found this coverup at a local boutique and knew when I saw it I had to have it. I typically don't go for off the shoulder things because they always end up right back on my shoulder the minute I lift my arm and that drives me crazy! This coverup is the exception, it only comes in one size and surprisingly fit perfect! And, it doesn't rise to the shoulders very easily. Then, there is this hat..... OMG I can't stop wearing it! Its reasonably priced and goes with almost anything!

Thank you all for stopping by!

Perfect Summer Cardigan

Cardigan: H&M  Top: Topshop  Shorts: American Eagle  Sandals: Jack Rogers  Clutch: Gigi New York  Sunglasses: Karen Walker  Bracelets: David Yurman  Watch: Michael Kors

Well, its back to reality today! I've had an amazing three weeks off from work but excited to get back at it. Yesterday, I got back from a great trip to the beach with my parents. Its the first trip I've taken with just my parents and I in many, many years. My poor mother took so many hours out of her vacation to take pics for me, forever grateful for her!

So, I have never been a big fan of H &M. I've never really had the body that fit well in their clothes and they just weren't flattering on my body type. In the past few months I've been able to lose some weight and start to transition my body. When I went into H & M a few weeks ago, I fell in love! I found so many great pieces and they actually looked good on me! This cardigan caught my eye immediately, I love all of the blues and its light weight and perfect for the spring/summer.

For dinner of the night these pictures were taken, we went to Calabash. For those of you who don't know what that is, its an area with lots of seafood places (at least 10) all side by side and they are all so good. Well, there is an area at the end that connects to the coastal waterway and many people have old fishing boats parked there. I always love to go and look around at all of them and of course had to snap a few shots while there as well.

Hope you all have a great Monday! Thank you for stopping by!
