The Perfect Sweater

| Top: ChicWish | Jeans: Joe's | Handbag: Kate Spade | Sunglasses: Ray-Bans | Boots: Sam Edelman | Rings: David Yurman & Julie Vos | Watch: Kate Spade | Bracelets: David Yurman |

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great Christmas! I love the holidays, especially when I get to see family that I don't get to see very often. But, sadly the fun little vacation is over. Today, I start studying for my first CPA exam..... UGH! Trying to remind myself that I just have to deal with this for one more year and then I am free.

I've had my eye on this sweater for a while now, so when ChicWish had a great Black Friday sale, I knew I had to get it. It is soooooo comfy and goes great with so many things. I really hate to admit how many times I have worn it since I got it... I'm a little obsessed. As for these boots, OMG! These were on major sale at Belk a few weeks ago and it was probably the best boot purchase I have made in a long time. They are super comfy, I wore them out to run errands and after hours on my feet, they still didn't hurt. Amazing!

Plaid + Sequins

| Plaid: J Crew Factory | Skirt: Cynthia Rowley | Booties: Dolce Vita | Sunglasses: Prada | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: Julie Vos

If you are anything like me, you have waited until the last minute to get your Christmas gifts, and more importantly, the cute outfits you are going to wear to see all of your family. I swear, I always say that I am going to be better and not wait, and FINALLY this year I am prepared!

I got this skirt last year and have only wore it maybe once. I am not big on sequins except when it comes to holidays. Whenever I think holidays, I think sequins. As for the plaid, I saw it on the J Crew factory website and knew that it would be perfect for Christmas. I was doing a little outfit experimenting and they worked out perfectly together.

Another Christmas tradition has come around this year.... I am sick. I have been sick every Christmas for as long as I can remember. I think I must have a Christmas curse or something. On the plus side, it happened a little early this year so hopefully it will be mostly over by the time Christmas actually gets here. Aside from that, I don't really have any special plans this year. Spending time with some family and eating some yummy food. Would love to hear about all of your guys plans!

Hey everyone! Hope you are all enjoying the holiday season. I don't know about you guys, but Christmas completely snuck up on me. Between school and work I've barely had a moment to breathe, much less do holiday things. Unfortunately, I have barely done any Christmas shopping so it looks like that is what I am going to be doing for the next few days.

The past few months have been some of the hardest of my life. Between work, school, Spartan races, and the blog, I barely had time for anything else. I somehow thought I could conquer everything but majorly over extended myself. As a result, some of these parts of my life didn't turn out as planned. My grades in school suffered, blogging has not been a regular thing, etc. So my advice to you all that are trying to juggle so many things... take a moment, realize what needs to be a priority and give it your all. Take days off.... that is so important. I never let myself have a break and as a result I was just miserable the past few weeks. I wouldn't let myself have any fun or just take a night to sit on the couch and watch TV, but you need those times!! Being the best you can be is so important but so is enjoying your life.

On another note, I'm headed to have some photos taken today and I can't wait to share them with you guys!!

Holiday Sparkle

| Dress: Lauren Conrad | Handbag: Chanel | Heels: Jessica Simpson | Bracelet & Ring: David Yurman | Earrings:  J Crew |

Well, its that time of year!! The time for pretty decorations, yummy food, and holiday parties. I myself, have several holiday parties to attend and I've always had the hardest time deciding what to wear. I found this dress last year and new it would be perfect!! In my opinion, you can never have too much sparkle! I think sequins just screams holidays!

When wearing a dress like this I sometimes find it hard to accessorize. I decided to add a little more sparkle with the earrings and then just a few additional plain touches. Finding shoes that I thought matched perfectly was a challenge, but hey nude goes with almost everything. When looking these pics I thought, uh how amazing would some nude Louboutin's look with these.... Ahhh one day!!

Two small sidetones; how adorable is the Christmas tree in the background?!? Its right down the road from where my apt is and I was so excited when they put it up.... I seriously love Christmas!! Other side note, I am FINALLY starting to get some calve muscles. I didn't notice it until I saw the shoe pic above. Hard work is finally paying off!!

Thank you all for stopping by!!

Fit & Fab

| Zip-Up: Lululemon | Pants: Fabletics | Shoes: Nike |

Since fitness has become such a big and special part of my life, I thought I would share some of my favorite workout pieces with you as well as my current workout regimen.

To start, I am obsessed with Lulu, I wish the budget could allow for it more often. I went in there to grab a pair of shorts the other day and stumbled upon this jacket, on sale, and I knew I had to have it. No that the cooler weather is upon us, I like to wear something like this until I get warmed up. I did a collaboration with Fabletics earlier these pants were part of it and I catch myself wearing them all of the time!! Confession moment, I love these Nikes and the color so much that I only wear them to run errands because I don't want to mess them up. Crazy, I know! But, Nikes are great for working out, and lately I have been loving Reebok cross training shoes.

As for my workout regimen, I am involved in Burn Boot Camp. It is a "your body is your machine" concept gym. We use weights for some workouts but never machines. I absolutely LOVE it!! It originated here in the Charlotte area but it is quickly spreading all over the US. If you have one near you, you should definitely try it out... I promise you won't be disappointed. I had always hated even the idea of working out until I stumbled upon BBC, it has truly been life changing.
