Little Red Dress

| Dress: SheIn | Booties: Kendal + Kylie | Handbag: Louis Vuitton | Ring: Pandora

When it comes to shopping on a budget, I always go to SheIn! They have so many cute pieces that are great quality and a fraction of the price of other retailers! I'm loving this dress that I picked up from there. It can be dressed up or down. Goes great with a variety of different shoes. Great staple piece for your closet.

So, with the new year, I want to do some new things for the blog. I want to do more than just outfits and product reviews. I want to some travel reviews, book reviews, recipes, etc. Leave a comment of send me an email of anything you would like to see! I'm super excited to start some new things.

And yes, I chopped the hair! To be honest I hadn't planned on it until moments before my appointment. Decided it was time for some change. Best decision ever! I am so in love with it and the maintenance is so much quicker/easier.

2018 Here I Come!

| Top: Karen Kane | Skirt: Amazon | Heels: old, found on eBay ($20) | Handbag: Tory Burch | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

Happy New Year everyone!! Welcome 2018! As I was sad to see 2017 go, I am happy for what 2018 brings. 2017 was a very good year, one that I truly won't forget. It brought me Jax, the sweetest pup in the world who has become my best friend and greatest companion. It brought me my first house which I fall more in love with each day. It brought me a Master's degree, whew that was rough. It brought me love, happiness, friendship, and so many more great things!

So this look is not one that is typical for me. I'm not a big skirt person but I love this one! It seriously goes with everything. It went so well with this adorable eyelet top. I promise that both pieces will get lots of use! They are great staple pieces. I've worn this black top three times since I've gotten it.

I hope that 2018 is your best year yet!

...And More Ruffles

| Sweater: not available online, similar | Jeans: SP Black | Booties:Kendal + Kylie | Handbag: Chanel |

Happy Friday, friends! Hope everyone has continued to have a great week! For most of you, I know this means the last little bit of time off...... it is for me too. But, with NYE just around the corner, there is a little fun left to be had. What plans do you all have for NYE?

So, if you couldn't tell already, I'm obsessed with ruffles! So naturally, when I saw this sweater, I had to have it! Super comfy. So sad that it's not available online but I found one that is almost identical and I've linked it above. Paired with my favorite booties and some comfy black jeans and I'm ready for a day full of errands or a day out with friends.

When it comes to my house, I feel like there is constantly something I am doing to improve it. Lately, the new project is finding some art work. I want to add some pieces to my room and the guest bedroom. Would love any suggestions you have! Of course, I've been stalking HomeGoods but I haven't found the right pieces yet.

Plum Perfect

| Top: not online, similarsimilar | Jeans: Joe's | Handbag: Louis Vuitton | Booties: Steve Madden |

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! The holidays always seem to fly by so quickly. And is it just me or is the actual holiday super stressful. I felt like I had jumped in the 'Four Christmas' movie for a day. But, not complaining, I loved every minute of it. And boy did I eat so much food. Omg is a miracle I can still fit in my pants. I never thought I would say this but, its a blessing that I am getting my wisdom teeth out next week because I need to have a week or two of barely eating.

I was in Belk a few weeks ago doing some Christmas shopping and I stumbled upon this top. I mean how darling is it? Unfortunately, I waited to long to post and its not longer online, but, I would some even cuter alternatives that are very similar. Plum is one of my favorite fall/winter colors. I would wear it all of the time if I could. It pairs so perfectly with dark jeans and a cute little tan bootie.

It's crazy to think that New Year's is just a few days away. My roommate and I have decided to throw a little party and I am super excited. I'm usually not one to host, but, I figured after 6 months in my new house, it was probably time. What are you all planning for New Year's? Would love to hear what you all have going on.

Christmas is Almost Here!

|  Sweater: Nordstrom | Jeans: Joe's (all time favorite) | Boots: Nordstrom  | Handbag: Tory Burch (extra 20% off) | Sunglasses: Karen Walker |
Happy Thursday, friends! Hope everyone is having a great week. Today I want to share with you a fun/comfy Christmas look along with some of my favorite family Christmas traditions. When it comes to holiday wear, you cant go wrong with a comfy and cozy red sweater. It's always my go to and it never disappoints. This one from Nordstrom is one of my favorites, ill definitely be using it in years to come. In other news, this handbag is my new favorite and its not only marked down, but an extra 20% off! If you've been thinking about making the plunge, now is the time.
Earlier this week, one of my work friends and I hosted a Christmas party for all of the children of people that we work with. And OMG we had so much fun. We had some people dress up as Santa and Mrs. Claus, had crafts, and lots of yummy food! This is a tradition that I hope continues in future years.
So, some of my favorite memories as a child, were from the holidays. Every year, I get to spend lots of time with my family! Up until I graduated from college, my mom and I would decorate the house on the first day of the December. I've now continued that tradition with my roommate and the sweet pup. It was so much fun getting to decorate my own house this year. It's the first Christmas we are spending in this house, so I have soaked up every minute of it. Last night for instance, we were completely basic and sat on the couch, drank hot cocoa, watched Christmas movies, and had the tree on.
Another one of my favorite traditions is Christmas Eve dinner at my aunt and uncles. Its always so much fun because its one of the few times every year that my whole family gathers. We exchange gifts, and take turns reading the Christmas story. Now that we are all grown up, things aren't as fun. But, now my generation is starting to have children, so we get to relive those fun moments we had as children.
Would love to hear all about your favorite Christmas traditions!
